Which browsers are best for using the portal? The portal is supported on Internet Explorer 10 and higher, Firefox 3.5 and higher, Chrome 3.0 and higher, and Safari 5.0 and higher. The best resolution for viewing the portal is at 1024 x 768 pixels.
What do I do if I can't log in? Contact your Solstice Supply planner with a screen shot of the error message you are receiving. Most likely a password reset will solve the issue.
I'm logged in but I'm not authorized to do any transactions. Your Solstice Supply planner can give you all the appropriate authorizations to perform your transactions in the portal.
What do I do if I get a red error message? Error messages vary throughout the portal. The best thing to do if you encounter an error message is contact your Solstice Supply planner. Providing them with a screen shot of the error would be helpful as well.
What do I do if the portal does not allow me to change a value? Fields in the portal have been designed to only allow edits under certain circumstances. If you wish to change a field that is "grayed out" or has a red line through it, please contact your Solstice Supply planner. Providing them with a screen shot of the field would be helpful as well.
Why are my transactions being sent for approval rather than posting immediately? Some transactions, such as recording finished and consumption quantities, always require the approval of your Solstice Supply planner. Other transactions are at the discretion of your Solstice Supply planner and can be configured with or without approval. Contact your Solstice Supply planner to see if any of your transactions can be posted immediately.
What if I encounter some unexpected results in the portal? It may be an issue with the cache in your browser. You can usually clear the cache from the Tools or Settings menu in your browser. Once cleared, please try running your transaction again.
How can I find available batch numbers for component materials? Open a new tab in your browser and execute the Inventory Comparison Report called Stock Position Report for the material number you're working with. Once the report is displayed you can sort by Stock Type to see which batches and quantities are considered Unrestricted and available for use.
